Franklin Park Girls Show Well At Altamont Thursday

Franklin Park track traveled to Altamont on Thursday with the girls scores and finishes getting released on Friday afternoon.

The 8th grade girls were first with 115 points followed by TTown with 96, North Clay 42.5 and Altamont 31.5.  Marah Johnson won the 100, Kendall Zimmermann the 1600, Jordan Kessler 2nd in the 400, Finley Puricelli tied for 1st in the 200, Breanna Redenbo 2nd in the 800, Johnson also won the shot, Puricelli the high jump and Redenbo the Long Jump.  Ruthie Hayes and Bandy tied for first in the pole vault.  Salem also won the 4×100 relay, 4×400 and was 2nd in the 4×200.

The Salem 7th grade girls finished 3rd with 57 points.  Altamont won the event with 106 points, TTown 80, then after Salem was North Clay with 4.  Brylee Pennypacker won the discus; Stadler was 2nd in the shot.  Pennypacker was 2nd in the 100 and Robinson was also 2nd in the 1600.  Salem was 2nd in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays.
