A rural Salem mobile home sustained minor damage from a trash fire on Thursday afternoon.
Salem Firemen say they were called to the Nathan Duke residence in the 4700 block of North Hoots Chapel Road.
Firemen report Duke had already knocked the fire down, but it did cause some of the underpinning to melt and minor damage to the siding. The compressor from the air conditioner was also damaged.
Firemen say it was not immediately clear what started the trash fire.
Odin firemen provided automatic mutual aid.
