The Salem Lady Cats are scheduled to play at Freeburg this afternoon. The Salem JV dropped their game at Odin yesterday 8-5. Bre Thurman and Lauren Burge were good in the circle. Thurman had 2 hits and drove in 2 at the plate, Nat Lee and Burge each scored twice. Sarah Lipe added an RBI and was on base twice. Makayla Braddy also reached base 3 times for Salem.
South Central fell at Windsor/Stew Stras 16-3. Kaitlyn Swift tripled, Brooklyn Garrett had 2 hits including a double and drove in a run with Lily Malone adding a single and 2 RBI. The Lady Cougars are 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the NTC, as they are scheduled to play at Altamont today.
The Centralia Annies beat Mascoutah 7-5.
