The SC 13u Storm Chasers dropped their semifinal game at GMB Ellisville, losing to the Rockford Rockets 4-2. SC had a 2-1 lead in the final inning before giving up 3 runs. In the game, Luke Shumate and Trent Ingram drove in runs with Avery Gullion adding a single and Payton Gullion doubled deep to right-center.

SC earned the top seed in the Gold Bracket with a pair of shutout wins on Saturday. They beat the Midland Bandits 7-0 with Ingram and Hayden Prather combining for the 2-hit win. At the plate, RBI came from Prather, Boston Isaacs, Sebastian Kruger, Avery Gullion and Kaiden Harrell with Payton Gullion adding a hit and run and Luke Shumate going 2-3.
SC then knocked off Bombs Away 3-0. Kruber and Avery Gullion drove in runs with this also from Payton Gullion.
The Storm Chasers return to action in 2 weeks at GMB Chatham.
