Salem Police have arrested 22-year-old Kelby Firnhaber of Markland Street in Salem for alleged possession of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody early Monday morning when police were called to a home on West McMackin Street where he allegedly refused to leave.
Wamac Police arrested 44-year-old Toby Gibson of Lowery Street in Odin for possession of a controlled substance as well as on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant and Clinton County felony warrant. Bond on the warrant totals $6,000.
Salem Police arrested 25-year-old Jacob Holman of South Puryn Street in Salem for alleged domestic battery and interfering with an emergency communications. Police report Holman took a phone away from another family member he pushed down and allegedly struck in the facial area several times. Police say another person was able to call police about the incident at 11 Sunday night.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department arrested an 18-year-old homeless man in the Union Pacific Rail Yards on Edgewood Lane in Salem. Miquel Hernandez had allegedly been seen in the yards for two days before he was removed from a train engine as it prepared to leave Salem. Hernandez was taken to the Marion
County Jail where he was later released on a notice to appear in court.
