The Odin FFA chapter has received a Spring Semester-Long Living to Serve Grant.

The $1,200 grant from the National FFA organization will help the Odin chapter address poverty and student nutrition by providing impoverished students and families with Action Packs.

The Action Packs, which were created by the school social worker are nutritional, kid-friendly meals and snacks sent home with students enrolled in the program on Fridays. The pack consists of enough entrees, breakfasts, and snacks to last the entire weekend or extended break.

The Odin FFA members are responsible for purchasing, inventory and assembling the packs each week.

If you would like to assist the Odin FFA in this endeavor, please give the school a call. They are always taking donated plastic grocery bags, Ziploc bags, and other items.
