The Salem Wildcats will open up their baseball season this afternoon at home hosting Mt Vernon. Salem will look to improve on last year’s 8-18 record. It’s the beginning of Rams head coach Tim Holloway’s final season as he announced he will be stepping aside as coach after this year. Rams alum Pierce Borah will take his spot at the end of the year. Game time at 4:30 today at SCHS Field.
The Salem JV will also be in action against the Rams at the Salem Little League Complex.
