Last night Salem High held their winter sports awards.
In boys basketball, Caden Bee was voted MVP and Best Offensive Player as well as being honored for his All-Conference selection. Brendan Phillips was Most Improved with Jacob Koehnke Best Defensive Player . Rolen Adams also received the Free Throw Award shooting 79% on the year.
In girls basketball, Katelyn Biegeleisen was named MVP and Best Defensive Player, Ivy Donoho was Most Improved and Alesia Keller was Best Offensive Player. Keller and Begeleisen were named to the All-Cahokia Team.
In girls bowling, Keelie Gass was MVP and Abby Cunningham Most Improved. On the boys side, Charlie Hunter was MVP, Nick Gregg Most Improved and Dominick Winkler earned the “I want it” award.
Isabella Richardson was voted Most Spirited Cheerleader while Ella Douglas was Most Improved. And for the Dance Team, Emmaleigh Brandon was Best Technique and Most Valuable with Marissa Wooters Most Dedicated.
