The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats earned the top seed in today’s volleyball regional with wins over each of the other 3 participants on the season. Salem opens up at Highland at 5pm against Wesclin. Highland takes on Centralia at 6 in the other semifinal with the championship tonight at 7pm. The winner will advance to the SIJHSAA State Tournament.
In Class S at New Horizon, the day begins at 4pm with Sandoval taking on Odin. The winner will play at 5pm against New Horizon with Selmaville and Willow Grove/St Mary’s playing at 6pm in the other semifinal and the championship match at 7pm.
Tonight in St Peter, the hosts Lady Saints open at 5pm against Iuka with the winner playing at 7pm against Trinity Lutheran. Altamont Lutheran and Patoka will play in the 6pm semifinal with the championship Thursday night at 6.
