Centralia Police have arrested two people on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop where some drugs were located and a later search warrant executed on their home where 130 grams of fentanyl and other drugs were allegedly found.

50-year-old John Willis and 32-year-old Samantha Horton of the 500 block of North Poplar are being held in the Marion County Jail for manufacture with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Willis was also arrested for driving on a suspended license as a result of the traffic stop.

Centralia Police Lieutenant Steve Whritenour says a small amount of cocaine, meth, and cannabis was allegedly found on the two suspects or in the car along with a glass pipe that tested positive for cocaine.   In the search of the home that followed on Monday, five more grams of meth were found along with 130 grams of fentanyl, two digital scales, and unprescribed narcotic medication.

Whritenour is commending the investigations unit for doing a good job in obtaining the search warrant that resulted in the drug recovery.
