Monday is the final day to file petitions to run in the June primary election.
Two more candidates filed for Marion County Board on Friday. They were District two Republican incumbents Wes Gozia and Deb Reid.
So far Monday morning Republican Michael Gray of Salem has filed in District one creating the first contested Marion County Board primary. Incumbent Sharon Woodward, as well as Brock Waggoner and Tracy Murray, filed petitions earlier last week. One Democrat, Jon Meador, has also filed to run in District One.
The deadline to file petitions to get on the ballot for Marion County sheriff, clerk, and treasurer, as well as county board and precinct committeemen, is at five Monday afternoon at the Marion County Clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse.
