High school basketball’s state championships happened this Saturday, and a familiar name took the win.
In Class 2A, Nashville took the championship, defeating Monticello 32-31. The score at halftime was 11-10 in Monticello’s favor, but Nashville would eventually make up a point deficit in the fourth quarter. Nashville was led by Kilten Gajewski with 14 points and Monticello was led by Dylan Ginalick with 11.
