A 26-year-old Walnut Hill man who had been placed on Marion County Drug Court in May 2020 for possession of one gram of fentanyl has now had his participation revoked and has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Destrian Doza of Deerfield Road will also have to complete one year of parole after getting out of prison. He was denied a furlough before the prison term began.
Doza admitted to a petition to revoke his probation in the case for a large number of violations of the drug court program. They include getting into a fight with another drug court recipient during a Narcotics Anonymous-Alcoholic Anonymous meeting, missing probation appointments, group meetings, failure to abstain, missing drug test, providing a diluted sample for a drug test, associating with known drug users, and not completing a job search.
