Police Beat for Wednesday, March 9th, 2022

Salem Police have arrested a 33-year-old Odin man on multiple charges following a pedestrian stop at Spruce and Tulsa Streets on Tuesday.   Travis Juds was taken to the Marion County Jail for possession of under five grams of methamphetamine, resisting or obstructing a police officer, and on a failure to appear warrant on another possession of methamphetamine case.  The bond on the warrant is set at $15,000.

Centralia Police arrested 34-year-old Joshua Orrell of North Walnut in Centralia on two counts of criminal trespass to a building.

Three others were brought to the Marion County Jail on failure to appear in court warrants.  41-year-old David Wade of Meadow Lane in Salem is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond on a possession of controlled substance charge.   35-year-old Cody Thompson of South Pine in Centralia is being held on a petition to revoke his probation on a possession of controlled substance conviction.  40-year-old Anthony Travis of Rough Lane in Selmaville is being held in lieu of $2,000 bond after turning himself in on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.
