The state girl’s basketball tournaments open up today at Redbird Arena in Normal for Class 1 and 2a. At 10am Neoga will take on Brimfield in the first 1a semifinal followed at 11:45 by Serena and Galena. The 3rd place game will be tonight at 7pm and the title game on Saturday.
In 2a today, Pana will take on Quincy Notre Dame at 2:30 and Winnebago and Fieldcrest play at 4:15 with the 3rd place game tonight at 8:45 and the title game along with all other 4 championship games on Saturday.
Tomorrow in 3a state semifinals its Civic Memorial and Mundelein Carmel followed by Morton and Nazareth Academy. In 4a, Lincolnshire Stevenson plays Lisle Benet Academy and Bolingbrook plays Barrington.
