The Cornhuskers bested a ranked opponent for the first time under third-year coach Fred Hoiberg. He came in 0-23 against teams in the AP Top 25, and Nebraska was 0-24 overall since beating a ranked Maryland squad during the 2019 Big Ten Tournament. C.J. Wilcher added 15 points for the Huskers, who overcame a seven-point deficit in the first half and won their second straight game. E.J. Liddell had 27 points and 14 rebounds for Ohio State, and Malaki Branham scored 16 points.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Hunter Dickinson scored a career-high 33 points on 13-of-19 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds to help Michigan beat Michigan State 87-70. Caleb Houstan added 16 points for Michigan (16-12, 10-8 Big Ten). The Wolverines moved into a three-way tie with the Michigan State and Rutgers for sixth in the conference standings – a game behind No. 23 Ohio State and No. 24 Iowa, which are tied for fourth. The top-four seeds earn a double-bye into the quarterfinals of next week’s Big Ten Tournament. Gabe Brown led Michigan State (19-10, 10-8) with 12 points and Tyson Walker scored 11. The Wolverines were without coach Juwan Howard, who served the third of a five-game suspension.

This week, they face a threat to their dominance. Five teams enter this week’s tourney with Top 15 rankings, hopes of hosting NCAA Tournament games and the possibility of winning the most wide-open tourney in years.
ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — National scoring leader Caitlin Clark of Iowa is the Big Ten player of the year. Kim Barnes Arico of Michigan is coach of the year. Clark averages 27.5 points per game. She was the choice for the top honor in voting by league coaches and a panel of media members. The sophomore is the first non-senior to win the award since 2015. Barnes Arico has led Michigan to a 22-5 record and the Wolverines finished the regular season tied for third in the Big Ten at 13-4. The Wolverines have been ranked in the top 10 most of the season.
UNDATED (AP) — An unprecedented day of chaos led to changes nearly everywhere in the AP Top 25, except the top two spots. It also tightened up major conference races across the country. Heading into the final week of the regular season, the first-place team in every undecided league except the Pac-12 has a lead of one game or less. The Pac-12 hasn’t been decided, either. No. 2 Arizona leads No. 16 Southern California by 1 1/2 games, but has three games this week. In the Big East, No. 9 Providence clinched the regular-season title over the weekend.
