The Salem 3rd Grade Little Cats finished closing out their season, winning the Iuka Tournament.
In Game 1, Salem beat Selmaville 22 to 20. EJ Wolfe 16 pts, Kolsyn Erwin 4 pts and Maddox LoGrasso and Brody Brubaker 1 pt.
Game two Salem beat Odin 18-9. Wolfe 13 pts, Erwin 4 pts, Izac Holsapple 2 pts, and LoGrasso 1 pt.
In the Championship game, Salem beat Carlyle 15-14 with a buzzer beater layup from EJ Wolfe. Wolfe finished with 8 pts, Nolan Krutsinger 3 pts, Kolsyn Erwin 2 pts, and Maddox LoGrasso and Brody Brubaker 1 pt each.
The Little Cats finished 16-4 this season. They took the Championship Title in the Selmaville Tournament, Odin Tournament, and Iuka Tournament. They took 2nd Place in the Salem Tournament and were Consolation Champions in the Carlyle Tournament. Salem had a solid team this season.
They had 5 solid guards that consisted of EJ Wolf, Nolan Krutsinger, Kolsyn Erwin, Izac Holsapple, and Lewis Eddy. Maxsen Tiemann and Dagan Duncan contributed a lot being able to play both the guard and the forward positions. They also had the Rebounding Bigs Duo, Maddox LoGrasso and Brody Brubaker.
