Police Beat for Tuesday, March 1st, 2022

A 33-year-old Odin man has been arrested by Centralia Police for alleged aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated battery.   Kirk Johnston of Page Avenue was taken to the Marion County Jail.  Centralia Police have not yet released any additional details.

45-year-old Walter Henson of Laclede Street in rural Odin was arrested by Centralia Police for felony criminal trespass to a residence.   He’s accused of entering a home in the 800 block of East Broadway without permission.

A 31-year-old Centralia man has been arrested on three outstanding warrants.   Donald Hemmings of Wabash Avenue is being held on a Marion County warrant for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge with bond set at $50,000.   He’s also being held on a Fayette County felony failure to appear warrant in a possession of methamphetamine case.

A 19-year-old resident of the Hoyleton Children’s Home was arrested for the fourth time this school year following an outburst at the Centralia High School Annex.   Harliegh Davidson was taken to jail for alleged aggravated battery to a school employee.
