The Salem Wildcats wrestling team competed at the Carbondale Regional going 28-13 as a team on the day. Salem had 8 qualify for Sectionals and finished 2nd in the Intermediate Division consisting of Willie Vincent, Myles Donoho, Kayne Rhynes and Rueger Greene. Those that did not qualify were night and day better than day one according to coaches.
Winning regional titles were Vincent, Donoho, Rhynes, Preston Camp and Briar Hills. 2nd places came from Izayah Ramirez, Daemion Ramirez, Henry Thoms with Carson Edwards qualifying for sectionals as well. Hagen Simmons was 3rd along with Garrett Hunter and Greene. Caylen Patterson also qualified for Sectionals finishing 4th.
