A 36-year-old Salem man has been charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
Jason Belman, who told authorities he was homeless, was charged with failing to register within three days of obtaining an alternative temporary housing.
Belman was arrested by Salem Police at a home in Salem Mobile Home Park when they learned he could be located there.
Bond for Belman was set at $5,000. The public defender was appointed to represent him.
