The Salem 2a girls regional title game was postponed yesterday because of the bad weather. The game featuring top-seed Teutopolis taking on Robinson will be tonight starting at 7pm. Before the game they will have the 3-point shootout with Salem’s Natalie Lee, Emma Gregg, Olivia Fehrenbacher and Lauren Burge shooting.
Also tonight in 2a regional championships, Pana plays Tolono Unity at Arthur, Benton hosts Hamilton County, Breese Central hosts Nashville, Freeburg welcomes Mater Dei, Carlinville takes on the Lady Hilltoppers at Hillsboro, it’s Alton Marquette against Staunton at Roxana.
In 2a games played yesterday, Carterville won the Anna Regional over DuQuoin 48-41.
The Centralia Annies will head to Herrin tonight to play for their 3a regional title against Mattoon after last night’s game was postponed. Also in 3a tonight, Civic Memorial hosts East St Louis, Effingham hosts Mount Vernon, Triad is at home against Waterloo.
In 1a basketball regional title games last night at Christopher the hosts beat Webber 46-30 behind 17 from Amiah Hargrove. At Dupo, it was Okawville knocking out Dupo 53-29. Alayna Kraus led the Lady Rockets with 21.
Tonight in 1a title games, Carlyle hosts Father McGivney, St Anthony takes on CHBC at Cumberland, at Gibault it will be Woodlawn taking on Marissa.
In 4a games tonight at Edwardsville, it’s the host Lady Tigers taking on Alton. The Belleville West title will be played for tomorrow with O’Fallon taking on Collinsville.
