BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Aleksa Gulbe scored 20 points and Grace Berger had 11 of her 15 points in the second half to help No. 5 Indiana pull away for a 69-58 win over Northwestern. Nicole Cardaño-Hillary scored 17 points, including three 3-pointers, for Indiana (19-4, 11-2 Big Ten). Mackenzie Holmes scored 6 points and had six rebounds in her first game back since Jan. 5 after having surgery on her left knee. Veronica Burton led Northwestern (14-10, 6-7) with 20 points. Lauryn Satterwhite and Jillian Brown each added 14 points.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Moussa Diabate scored 16 of his career-high 28 points in the second half and Michigan beat Iowa 84-79. Diabate, a freshman whose career high had been 15 points, was 12-of-15 shooting with eight rebounds for the Wolverines, who broke a seventh-place tie with the Hawkeyes in the Big Ten.  Hunter Dickinson scored 14 points with nine rebounds and seven assists. DeVante’ Jones had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Keegan Murray scored 23 points with seven rebounds for Iowa, which had a three-game win streak end. Patrick McCaffery added 13 points.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (AP) — Jalen Pickett scored 20 points, John Harrar had 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Penn State beat Minnesota 67-46 in the second meeting in five days. It was Penn State’s largest win over Minnesota in program history. Myles Dread added 12 points for Penn State. Pickett reached 20 points for the third time this season, and first since Jan. 8 against Purdue, and Harrar recorded his eighth double-double. Jamison Battle scored 16 points, reaching 1,000 in his career, for Minnesota.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Angel Reese scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead No. 13 Maryland to a 77-72 victory over No. 18 Ohio State. It was the eighth straight win for Maryland (20-6, 12-3), which is tied with fifth-ranked Indiana (19-4, 11-2) atop the Big Ten Conference standings. Ohio State (19-5, 11-4) ended a four-game win streak. Maryland used a 15-3 run for a 59-50 lead with 2:09 remaining in the third quarter. Reese finished with 10 points in the quarter. The Terrapins extended the advantage to 75-64 with 3:08 to play. Taylor Mikesell had 29 points to lead Ohio State.

UNDATED (AP) — Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh agreed to a reworked five-year contract that runs through the 2026 season, guaranteeing he will make more than $7 million each season.. The announcement of a new deal comes two weeks after Harbaugh interviewed for the coaching vacancy with the Minnesota Vikings. Harbaugh would make $2 million in performance bonuses if the Wolverines repeat as Big Ten champions and go back to the College Football Playoff.  Harbaugh would earn another $1 million bonus if he can lead the school to its first national title since 1997. Harbaugh agreed to large pay cut last year after the Wolverines went 2-4 in the pandemic-abbreviated 2020 season.
