The first seven coaches were inducted to the Coaches Wall of Honor at half-time of Friday night’s Centralia Orphans basketball game.

Principal Reid Shipley says Coaches Dick Carpenter, Jimmy Evers, Craig Freels, Ann Murray, Don Smith, AL Trout, and Rod White are being recognized for their achievements at Centralia High School and more importantly their dedication to student athletes and service to the community.

Each of those in attendance received a plaque honoring them and will have their names placed on a plaque in the front foyer above the main entrance to Trout Arena next to the Coach Trout tribute.

Murray, who was unable to attend, will receive her plaque and be honored at the Shrine Football game against Salem in August.
