The Seeds have been released for the upcoming boys basketball post-season. In 2a, the Salem Wildcats will be the 4 seed in the Flora Sub-Sectional B. Pana is the top seed with Alton Marquette and Hillsboro 2-3. Vandalia earned the 5th seed with regional sites Pana and Greenville.
In Sub-Sectional A feeding into the Carterville Sectional, Breese Central is the 1 seed with Nashville, Pinckneyville and Mater Dei also in the top 4. Columbia, Freeburg and Althoff are 5-6-7 with DuQuoin and Wesclin, the two regional sites, 8-9 with Red Bud 10 and then Chester and Sparta 11 and 12.
Centralia is the top seed in their Sub-Sectional in 3a and will host a regional along with Olney who is the 2-seed with Mascoutah 3 and Mt Vernon 4. Herrin is 5 followed by Marion, Waterloo, Effingham and then Carbondale. East St Louis is the top-seed in Sub-Sectional B and will be either at the Cahokia or Chatham Glenwood regional site.
In 1a feeding into the St Anthony Sectional will be Sub-Sectional B with Altamont the top seed followed by St Anthony, Carlyle and South Central in the top 4. North Clay is 6, Christ Our Rock 9, St Elmo/Brownstown 11, Sandoval 12 and Patoka/Odin is 13th and will be a regional site along with Dieterich.
