Police Beat for Friday, February 11th, 2022

A 31-year-old Centralia man has been arrested on an outstanding felony failure to appear warrant and a new charge of resisting arrest. Cameron Jones of South Perrine Street was taken to the Marion County Jail where he is being held on $10,000 bond.  Court records indicate Jones had entered a negotiated guilty plea, but failed to return to his next court appearance.

37-year-old Austin Pruett of South Maple in Wamac was arrested by Wamac Police for alleged aggravated domestic battery.

31-year-old Jacob Erwin of Salem was arrested by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery.

39-year-old Billy Hunt of East Noleman in Centralia was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail by Centralia Police for violation of bail bond.

28-year-old DeAndre Downey of Cormick Street in Centralia turned himself in on an outstanding Marion County traffic failure to appear warrant and was released after posting $250 bond.

37-year-old Brandon Sellers of Woodard School Road in Salem was given a notice to appear by Effingham County officials after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an Effingham County small claims warrant.
