The Marion County Health Department is reporting 11 more COVID-19 related deaths in the past two weeks. There have now been 205 COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began.
The Health Department reports five of the 11 were vaccinated, eight were in the hospital at the time of their death and one was a long-term care resident.
Health Department Administrator Melissa Mallow says the deaths include one male in his 60s, two in their 70s, three in their 80s, and one male in their 90s. There was also one death of a female in her 40s, two in their 60s, and one in their 90s.
The health department is also reporting 11 Marion County congregate care facilities are in outbreak status.
The Clinton County Health Department is reporting one additional COVID-19 related death this week. The death was a man in his 50s. There have now been 112 COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began.
