A 52-year-old Kinmundy woman was arrested at the Marion County Courthouse on Tuesday for violation of bail bond. Lacresha Sullens of Omega Road was taken to the county jail where she remained on Wednesday.
Salem Firemen were called to a home occupied by Lisa Vaughn in the 300 block of South Castle Wednesday night to a report of a smoke or gas odor. No smoke could be found and the city’s gas crew was called out to check for a gas leak as a precaution. None was found. Fire officials believe the odor may have been skunk-related.
