The Franklin Park Bobcats came up short in their regional championship at home against Centralia falling 45-38. Salem 8th grader Ryegan Warren scored 29 points in the loss.
The last thing left for the Bobcats will be the JV playing in a tournament starting Monday in Woodlawn trying to improve on their 20-1 record.
At Carmi, Flora advanced to play Olney tonight for the title after their 51-22 in over Carmi.
The Class M semifinals were played at Okawville. Goreville is into the state finals after their 31-23 victory over NCOE. They will play Nashville after they beat Fairfield 41-15. The state finals will be Friday night at 7:30 preceded by the 3rd place game at 6.
The Class S semifinals at Pinckneyville tomorrow night with Hoffman Trinity taking on Meridian at 6pm followed by Jasper and Waltonville.
