The Salem Lady Cats finished 2nd at the Carterville Regional to advance as a team to sectionals. Anna Jonesboro was the team champ at 5343 with Salem at 5186 and then Herrin 21 pins behind for 3rd. Also advancing as teams were Waterloo. Mt Vernon failed to qualify and finished 6th.
Abbie Graham of Harrisburg was the Regional champ and advanced along with Mt Vernon’s Makayla Storment.
For Salem, Sarah Sauter shot 1099, Keelie Gass 1089 and Abby Cunningham 1075. Jaeda Rollinson shot 983 and Elena Vanhoutin 940.
