Chicago Blackhawks still searching for general manager

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks have interviewed former NHL forward Scott Mellanby for their general manager job. The 55-year-old Mellanby had 364 goals and 476 assists in 1,431 regular-season games over 21 years in the NHL. He was the assistant general manager for the Montreal Canadiens from 2014 until he resigned in November. Chicago also has interviewed interim GM Kyle Davidson and Eric Tulsky, the assistant GM for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Elsewhere in the NHL:

— Philadelphia captain Claude Giroux scored three goals before the Metropolitan Division completed a 5-3 win over the Central Division in the final 3-on-3 match of the NHL All-Star Game.

The seven-time All-Star won his first MVP award with two goals in the final and another in the semifinal.

New Jersey’s Jack Hughes also scored three goals for the Metropolitan team in the All-Star extravaganza’s first trip to Las Vegas.

Carolina’s Frederik Andersen was the standout goalie, allowing just three goals and picking up an assist.
