Marion County Health Department Administrator Melissa Mallow says now that the state has taken over most of the contact tracing for COVID-19, the health department is gearing up to restart some of its other programs that have been suspended during the pandemic.
The health department will resume testing individuals for STD/STI at the Salem office by appointment starting February 8th.
The health department can test individuals ages, 18 years and older. Both testing and treatment are free of charge.
