The Franklin Park Bobcats dropped their final road game of the season, losing at Breese Junior High 35-31. Salem had a chance, down 3, with 6.6 seconds left but a turnover was the end of the comeback for the Bobcats. Ryegan Warren scored a team-high 14 points in the loss. Eli Lograsso added 6.
The Salem JV improved to 19-1 on the season as they were hot out of the gate running to a 21-2 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 52-19 victory. Trey Clark found a lot of lanes to the basket as he finished with 16. Landon Maxey hit four three pointers scoring 14.
Salem returns to action Thursday when they host Flora for 8th grade night in their final regular season game.
