Wayne City went to double overtime to defeat Cisne 66 t0 63 to win the Midland Trail Conference Tournament to defend their title as conference champions. In the third-place game, Christ Our Rock beat Webber Township, 52-45. Sandoval won the Consolation Championship game over Waltonville 67-52.
The All-Tournament team included Taj McKinney of Wayne City as Most Valuable Player. Others selected were Sandoval’s Kaleb Calhoun, Drew Jackson and Brayden Such from Christ Our Rock, Gavin Fetherling and Anden Atwood from Cisne, Seth Hamerski from Webber, Quinn Gajewski from Waltonville, and Chance Phelps from Woodlawn.
In the Nashville Tournament, Breese Central beat Nashville 51 to 40 to win the championship. Mascoutah beat Breese Mater Dei 55 to 49 to win the third-place game.
