The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats advanced to the state semifinals in Class L with their 36-19 win over Carmi. Jordan Kessler finished with 12 and Marah Johnson added 11. The Lady Bobcats improved to 17-7 on the season and will play Hamilton County Tuesday night at 7:15 pm in the second semifinal.
The Selmaville Lady Rockets dominated from start to finish as they advanced in the Class S state tournament with their 52-29 win over Jonesboro. The Lady Rockets press forced 30 Lady Bulldogs turnovers. Allie Hustedde led Selmaville with 18 and Kale Benjamin finished with 10 as they improved to 21-4 on the year. They will play in the state semifinal Thursday night at 6 pm against Breese St Rose.
