In high school boys basketball over the weekend, Centralia traveled to Evansville and defeated Reitz 64-60. In other action around the region, Christ Our Rock beat Woodlawn 52-37, Flora in double overtime over Vandalia 54-53, Mount Vernon beat Herrin 49-39, Nashville 53-43 over Carbondale.
The Okawville Tournament opens tonight with Carlyle taking on Alton Marquette at 6pm followed by Highland and Roxana at 7:30.
The opening night of the Nashville Tournament will see Nashville and Metro East Lutheran at 6pm and then Mascoutah and Brentwood, Missouri at 7:30.
At the Carmi Invitational, Harrisburg takes on Fairfield followed by Carmi and Evansville Day School.
At the Benton Tournament, Vandalia opens with Mounds Meridian at 5:30 followed by Hamilton County and Pinckneyville and then Benton and Sesser Valier.
