EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Ryan Young had 18 points and eight rebounds, helping Northwestern hold on to beat No. 10 Michigan State 64-62 for its first road win over a top 10 team in nearly five years. The Wildcats won after Michigan State’s Malik Hall missed a 3-pointer with 4 seconds left and Marcus Bingham missed the front end of a one-and-one with seven-tenths of a second remaining. The Spartans had won nine straight, their longest winning streak since the 2018-19 season. Northwestern led by seven early in the second half and went ahead 62-57 with 2:34 left.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Lucas Williamson scored 17 points and Marquise Kennedy scored 15 and Loyola Chicago won its ninth straight beating Indiana State 64-56. Down 45-44 with 9:40 left, Williamson went on his own 6-0 run with a layup, a 3-pointer and 1-for-2 shooting from the foul line and Loyola Chicago led the rest of the way. Cameron Henry scored 12 points for the Sycamores.
CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) — AJ Green scored 22 points, Noah Carter added 17 and Northern Iowa edged Southern Illinois 69-68 for its fifth straight win. Green was 4 of 12 from the floor, made three 3-pointers, and shot 11 of 12 from the line. Green’s two free throws stretched the Panthers’ lead to 69-65 with 0.8 seconds left. Lance Jones heaved in a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Southern Illinois (9-7, 2-2 Missouri Valley) Nate Heise added 11 points for Northern Iowa (9-7, 5-1 ). Marcus Domask scored 23 points to lead the Salukis. Jones finished with 20 points and Ben Coupet Jr. had 12.

— Top-ranked Baylor has now followed a 21-game winning streak with its first home losing skid in nearly six years. Bryce Thompson scored the game’s final six points and finished with 19 as Oklahoma State beat the Bears, 61-54. Baylor fell behind by as many as 17 before a 14-2 run brought the defending national champs to within 55-54. The only time Oklahoma State trailed was after Kendall Brown’s basket that made it 4-3 only 2 1/2 minutes into the game. The Bears then missed 10 shots in a row over a span of more than six minutes.
— Drew Timme scored 32 points and Andrew Nembhard had 19 as second-ranked Gonzaga routed Santa Clara, 115-83 for its 24th consecutive West Coast Conference victory. Timme shot 14-for-18 and had eight rebounds for the Zags, who broke the game open with a 27-5 run in the first half.
— Johnny Juzang scored 19 of his 24 points while third-ranked UCLA was pulling away in the second half of an 81-65 trouncing of Oregon State. Jaylen Clark added 11 points on 5 of 6 shooting in his first career start for the 11-2 Bruins.
— No. 4 Auburn rallied from an early 14-point deficit to beat Mississippi, 80-71, and run its winning streak to 13 games. Walker Kessler scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who also received 15 points from Jabari Smith.
— Oregon knocked off a top-five team for the second time in two games, beating No. 5 Southern California, 79-69 behind Will Richardson’s career-high 28 points. De’Vion Harmon had 16 points and N’Faly Dante added 12 in the Ducks’ fifth straight win.
— Azoulas Tubelis scored 32 points, Christian Koloko added 16 points and No. 6 Arizona dominated Utah inside for an 82-64 win. Arizona outscored Utah 56-28 in the paint, including 12 during a 21-0 run that turned a close game into a blowout.
— Mark Williams just missed a triple-double and Paolo Banchero had a team-high 21 points as eighth-ranked Duke beat North Carolina State, 88-73. Williams had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and eight blocks in the return of head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who missed one game due to a non-COVID illness.
— Ninth-ranked Kansas outscored West Virginia 52-28 in the second half of an 85-59 rout of the Mountaineers. David McCormack provided 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Jalen Wilson added 23 points and eight boards for the Jayhawks, who have never lost to WVU in 10 meetings at Allen Fieldhouse.
— Kyler Edwards made seven 3-pointers as part of his 29 points that allowed 11th-ranked Houston to avoid an upset by Tulsa, 66-64. The Cougars blocked Sam Griffin’s potential game-winning, 3-point try at the buzzer.
— Jaylin Williams hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer with slightly more than a minute to play, sending Arkansas to a 65-58 comeback over No. 12 LSU. Williams had 11 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and helped the Razorbacks close on a 17-2 run.
— Gabe Kalscheur scored 22 points as 15th-ranked Iowa State held on to beat No. 21 Texas, 79-70. Kalscheur hit 6 of 12 attempts from 3-point range, including a pair of long-range shots that helped the Cyclones hold off a late charge by the Longhorns.
— No. 17 Xavier rallied to defeat Creighton, 80-73 as Colby Jones scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half. Xavier had six players in double figures scoring, helping the Musketeers bounce back from a tough loss on Wednesday to No. 14 Villanova.
— Freshman TyTy Washington Jr. scored a career-high 28 points and 18th-ranked Kentucky shot a season-high 68% to blow out No. 22 Tennessee 107-79. Sahvir Wheeler returned from injury to add 21 points to the blowout.

— Greg Elliott made a tiebreaking free throw with 1.7 seconds left and Marquette withstood a long second-half drought to beat No. 20 Seton Hall 73-72 for its fourth straight victory.
