Wildcats See Brief 4th Quarter Lead Evaporate To 8th Ranked Central

The Salem Wildcats hit a bucket to start the 4th quarter that gave them a 25-24 lead over visiting Breese Central, however the Cougars would score outscore Salem 16-0 the rest of the way to pull of the 40-35 win and improve the 8th ranked Cougars to 17-3 on the season.  Salem falls to 9-9 with the loss.  Caden Bee led Salem with 16 points.  Brady Moore had 22 for Central.  The Wildcats are off until Wednesday when they open up the 70th Salem Invitational Tournament at 8pm against Carbondale.

The 10th ranked Orphans improved to 14-2 on the season with a 59-45 win at home over Althoff.  Koby Wilmoth finished with 21 and Davin Tabor added 20.
