Police Beat for Wednesday, January 5th, 2022

Six people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Tuesday.

34-year-old Timothy Burton of West 16th in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on a felony failure to appear in court warrant with bond set at $30,000.

42-year-old Franklin Seals of West Main Street in Salem was arrested by Salem Police for violation of the sex offender registration act. He remains in the Marion County Jail.

43-year-old Carl Altom of Queens Avenue in rural Odin was given a notice to appear in court by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies after he was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property at a home on Kingshighway in Odin.

24-year-old Eric Lusk of Fairway Drive in Centralia was arrested by State Police for driving on a suspended license, speeding over 35, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as on a Marion County traffic warrant.

71-year-old Vickie Painter of North Illinois in Salem turned herself into Salem Police on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor traffic warrant. She later posted $200 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail.

42-year-old Mandee Patton of North Broadway in Salem was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies for driving on a suspended license. She was later released on a notice to appear in court.
