Salem Police say two vehicles stolen on Monday have now been found abandoned.
The first report came early Monday morning that a pickup truck had been stolen from the CSX train terminal on South Broadway in Salem. The pickup was found in an alleyway in Junction City with no one around about 10:30 Monday morning.
Salem Police received a report of a car being stolen from the 300 block of North College sometime before 11:20 Monday night. The vehicle was found parked in the apartment complex parking lot off of West Kell Street on Tuesday morning.
An investigation is continuing into who was responsible for the thefts.
