Centralia Police have made an arrest in connection with the passing of a counterfeit $20 bill.

Police Chief Greg Dodson says Kellie Whitehouse of South Elm in Centralia allegedly passed the bill at the Huck’s Store on East Calumet on December 13th.   Police surveillance was able to identify her as the one responsible.

Whitehouse was picked up on Tuesday on the new charge along with a no bond Illinois Department of Corrections Parole warrant.    She was taken to the Marion County Jail.
