Centralia Police say a 32-year-old Centralia man was arrested on multiple charges after allegedly firing a gunshot inside his home and later chasing his wife down the street during an early Saturday morning domestic dispute.

Broderick Currie of South Hickory was taken to custody at his home after the alleged victim was able to jump into a car while being chased to get help.  She did not require hospital treatment.

Currie was arrested for alleged domestic battery, unlawful use of weapons, aggravated discharge of a firearm, armed violence, aggravated assault with the discharge of a firearm, endangering the life of a child, possession of more than 26 grams of what is believed to be fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dodson says Currie is believed to have threatened to kill his wife before discharging a pistol one time.   A child was inside the home at the time.  The gun was recovered after Currie was taken into custody without incident.   The alleged fentanyl was allegedly found in two different areas.
