Centralia City Firemen assisted two members of a tree cutting service who became stranded 25 feet in the air in a bucket truck Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Bicknell Street.
Fire department reports indicate the two had cut a branch off a tree that struck the hydraulics of the bucket truck which kept it from operating.
The department’s aerial truck was brought to the scene and the two workers were able to climb onto the ladder and be safely lowered to the ground.
The call for assistance came at 1:25 Thursday afternoon.
