A 56-year-old Centralia man who was allowed out of the Marion County Jail for a medical procedure and didn’t return has now been arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to return from furlough.

Bond on the warrant for the arrest of Allen Wilson of South Maple is set at $100,000. Wilson was being held on domestic battery and violation of an order of protection at the time he was released on furlough.

Wilson was picked up Monday by Wamac Police after they received a tip that he was at a residence where he was prohibited by an order of protection. As a result, Wilson was also arrested on a new charge of violation of an order of protection as well as an outstanding Clinton County failure to appear in court warrant on a possession of methamphetamine charge.

He’s now being held in the Marion County Jail pending further court action.
