The Salem Fire Protection District was called Monday night to free a Kell woman who had become trapped between her SUV and a parked pickup truck at Dayton Trucking on West Mitchell Street.
Fire officials say it appeared Brenda Morton’s SUV continued to move after she got out of her vehicle and trapped her against the side of the pickup truck.
Salem Firemen attached a winch to the pickup truck and pulled it away from Morton so she could be freed.
Morton declined hospital treatment.
The incident unfolded at 4:43 Monday afternoon.
