Three move COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in South Central Illinois.
The Fayette County Health Department in its weekly report for last week has announced two additional deaths, bringing their total during the pandemic to 69. There were 78 new cases for the month.
The Clinton County Health Department is reporting one additional death in their report for last week. A man in his 80s was the 105th death since the pandemic began. The Clinton County health Department reported 60 new cases and three hospitalized last week. There were 72 active cases.
Fayette County reported 78 new cases last week. There were no deaths in Jefferson County. There have been 36 new cases from Saturday through Tuesday, with 38 still in isolation. Jefferson County has not had any additional deaths. The Marion County Health Department will release a five day report for Saturday through Wednesday later on Wednesday.
