A 36 -year-old Herrin man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to a charge of possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.
Matthew Ingersol was placed on two years first offender probation, abstain from drugs with random testing, and complete 30 hours of public service work.
As part of the plea, a second count of possession with intent to deliver 30 to 500 grams of cannabis was dropped.
