An Aviston truck driver was injured Thursday morning when his rig struck another truck on I-70 in Cumberland County east of Effingham.
State Police say 69-year-old Larry Schneider of Aviston was traveling eastbound when he struck another eastbound truck driven by 53-year-old Mohammad Ahmed Kahn of Melvindale, Michigan. Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
Charges are pending investigation.
The crash occurred at 5:22 Thursday morning.
