An investigation into a suspicious vehicle in the Denny’s Restaurant parking lot on the west side of Salem led to two Kentucky residents being arrested on felony drug charges.
After the Marion County Sheriff’s Department canine alerted on the vehicle, it was searched and methamphetamine was allegedly found.
The two occupants of the car, 25-year-old Joseph Tyree and 21-year-old Anna Draper, both of Kentucky, were taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Tyree was also wanted on a Kentucky warrant for possession of amphetamine.
