Violet Hollenberg (nee Bellew), age 98 of Odin, formerly of Bridgeton, MO passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, with her loving son by her side.
Violet was born on December 6, 1923, in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Frank and Carrie (Koenig) Bellew.
Survivors include her son Larry Hollenberg of Odin; special nieces, Carol Wilke and Marty Yardley; several other nieces and nephews; and special friend Delores Deadmond of Odin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dorothy, Frank, Lorraine, Shirley, and Audrey; and brothers-in-law, Chris Hollenberg and Leroy Hollenberg.
Violet worked for 33 years and retired from the Farmers Home Administration, Department of Agriculture where she was personnel director until her retirement in 1978.
Per Violet’s request, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
