FP Knocks Off Centralia, Honor 8th Graders…..Selmaville & Raccoon Earn Wins

On 8th grade night at Franklin Park, the Bobcats got a grand slam from Noah Timm in the 4th inning and an inside-the-park homer from Angel Salgado in their 12-2 blowout win over Centralia.  Brody Collier was the winning pitcher striking out 8 with Salgado getting the final out of the game.  Collier finished 3-3 with a double and Eli Lograsso added a hit along with Jackson Greene.  Franklin Park will host Highland today at 4:15.

Selmaville beat Iuka 13-3.  Carter Lowe doubled home a run for the Rockets who got 2 RBI day from Kai Graham, Logan Butts, Brendan Smith and Tripp Garden.  Also driving in a run was Nicholi Mahrenka.  Wyatt McCarty worked 2 innings of 1 hit all, Jaxon Ward added 2 innings of work and Graham worked one frame.

Michael Organ allowed 1 hit and no earned runs with 12 strikeouts and just 3 walks in Raccoon’s 3-1 win over Field.  Organ also went 2-3 at the plate with a run and RBI.  CJ Allison also drove in a run.
